CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER (CSO)
The Company wishes to internally recruit a qualified, competent and results oriented individual to fill the below position, in order to provide overall supervision in one of our major assignments.
JOB TITLE: CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER
REPORT TO: BRANCH MANAGER
Chief Security Officer works in cooperation with Operations Administrator (OA), Field Officer (FO), Clients, Control room Manager and other Security Officers.
Education:
Diploma or certificate in Security Management, Criminology, Business Management, or a related field from a recognized institution
Experience: Supervisory/Leadership is an added advantage.
Knowledge & Skills: Team leadership, Computer skills, Problem solving & Conflict resolution, Excellent Communication (both verbal and written), Disaster management, Supervision, Report writing, Basic Investigations, able to work under pressure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall in-charge of the guard force at the assignment.
- Provide a link between the client and the company.
- Ensure optimum guards deployment.
- Ensure full compliance with the assignment Standard Operating Procedures / Specific Posts Instructions by all the guards.
- Liaise with the Security Manager to share updates, intelligence and threat status.
- Be in touch with control room for effective communication issues.
- Conduct irregular spot checks on guards at allocated posts.
- Coordinate with external emergency response teams in liaison with the Security Manager.
- Ensure that all incidents are recorded in the assignment Occurrence Book then escalated to BM Security control room and the Security Manager.
- Enforce emergency procedures in the event of any demanding situation.
- Facilitate police visits whenever critical incidents are experienced.
- Secure incident scenes to avoid contaminating the evidence thereof.
- Hold weekly Timaam parades for both shifts to communicate performance related issues and company policies.
- Perform any other lawful duty as may be assigned by his/her seniors from time to time.
