AREA MANAGER - NYANZA
The company wishes to recruit a dynamic and self-driven Area Manager who will be responsible for managing the branch processes, people, budgets and service delivery to enable the company achieve its strategic objectives.
Experience:
Over 5 years working experience in security, 3 years MUST be in the private security industry.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Studies, or any other relevant field.
Training:
Advanced professional training in security. Certification in Security Management such as Certified Security Management professional (CSMP), Leadership or other relevant training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage profit and loss accounts for the assigned branch and ensure that all assets allocated to his/ her branch are properly and effectively utilized.
- Draw realistic and business focused financial year budgets for his/her branch and implement cost control measures.
- Implement the credit control policy in conjunction with the Finance department.
- Ensure that all necessary documents are signed for all new services and prepare accurate and detailed monthly reports to the management/customers.
- Enhance BM Security corporate brand and provide focused leadership.
- Ensure incidents are investigated and reviewed by the compliance section before sharing with the client
- Ensure effective management of security operations and supervision in the Branch.
- Check and verify accuracy of all the Branch documents, e.g., Muster Roll, Guards Scheduling, deployment returns, daily situation reports etc.
- Ensure that adequate arrangements are made for branch staff to proceed for their annual leave and weekly rest days as required.
- Draw Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and Service Level Agreements (SLAS) where necessary for all new assignments and signed by both parties.
- Coordinate and conduct Security Surveys and Risk Assessments as appropriate.
- Maintain an updated data base for existing and prospective customers.
- Implement the customer service policy in conjunction with the business development and customer experience department.
- Prepare and attend Monthly Security Meetings with clients within the Branch.
- Attend to all client complaints in the Branch and consult where necessary.
- Manage the human resources within the division in terms of discipline, grievance handling and performance management.
- Implement the education, training and development policy in the department liaison with the HR Department.
- Foster mutual interest and encourage teamwork within the division. He/she shall hold regular meetings with branch staff geared towards improving business operations.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
